The Dutch coop features a gambrel (barn-style) roofline that makes it one of the most visually distinctive structures in our full lineup. The upper loft created by the gambrel profile can serve as additional storage, a second roosting tier, or simply extra airspace that helps keep the coop cooler in summer.

The wider walls below the gambrel give you more usable floor and vertical area than a comparable A-Frame or pitched-roof design.
