The Process
How Delivery & Installation Works
From order to installed, here's what to expect.
Place Your Order
Call us or fill out the quote request form on our contact page. We'll confirm the model, size, and any options you want, provide a final price, and take a deposit to lock in your build slot.
Schedule Delivery
Once your coop is ready (in-stock items can often be delivered within days; built-to-order coops typically take 4–8 weeks), we'll coordinate a delivery date that works for your schedule.
Prepare Your Site
Before delivery day, make sure the site is level, the access path is clear, and the ground is firm enough for our trailer. See the site prep requirements below for specifics.
Delivery Day
We arrive with the coop on our trailer, position it exactly where you want it, and level it on-site. For most coops, the whole process takes under two hours. We'll walk you through everything before we leave.
Before We Arrive
Site Preparation Requirements
A little prep before delivery day makes everything go smoothly and ensures your coop ends up level and secure from day one.
Level Ground
The placement area should be reasonably level, within about 4–6 inches of level across the coop's footprint. Significant slopes may require grading beforehand. We can advise if you're unsure.
Access Path
We need a clear path from the street to your placement site, typically at least 10–12 feet wide for our trailer. Low-hanging branches, fences, gates, and overhead wires can all be obstacles. Measure your narrowest point and let us know.
Firm Ground
The access path and placement area need to support the weight of our truck and trailer. Very soft or saturated ground can be a problem. If your property has had recent heavy rain, give us a heads up so we can plan accordingly.
Foundation Options
The simplest foundation is a level gravel pad, about 4–6 inches of crushed rock, slightly larger than the coop's footprint. A concrete slab also works well. We can set the coop on bare ground in a pinch, but a proper base will extend its life and keep it level over time.
